If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.

We haven't really been up to much lately. We have just been hanging out, getting ready for Christmas. I just decided to put up some recent pics of some funny faces and new developments. The most notable of her new developments are clapping and waving. She has always loved it when we clap and so her daddy was able to quickly teach her to clap. She loves the song "If you are happy and you know it". Her favorite is the clapping part. This video was taken a few weeks ago. She has gotten more coordinated with the clapping now. She has also learned to wave. Frequently, she ends up waving backward (waves at herself), but it's the cutest thing. She just looks at her hand like she's wondering if she is controlling it. She has started waving at any picture, but especially the Christmas card pictures we have up right now on our fireplace mantle. She also loves to wave at herself in the mirror.

She has learned how to feed herself and loves it. She can pick things up and almost always makes it to her mouth. She starts to get excited, though, and tries to pick things up with both hands and goes for her mouth with both of them. One hand always makes it before the other and then she is stuck with one hand full of food and forgets about it. At that point, it goes to her lap. I can't help but laugh about it. A mess is guaranteed, but so worth it.

Clapping!

I don't know why she was doing this, but it was funny.

Picking up her food.

Feeding herself.

One of her recent funny faces. I think it's because she may be getting her top teeth.

I was trying to get her in her cute Christmas outfit. I also got her being brave with only one hand on the table. Not to mention, this was a funny pose.
