My baby is three months old!

I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Haley is already three months old. She is getting so big. I think she might be around 14 pounds now. We won't go back to the doctor's for another month. She is getting even more fun now. She smiles and laughs all the time. She can sit up when she is in her little Bumbo seat and she does this cute little "walking" thing when we stand her up on the floor. I think she will be rolling over very soon. She is so much more alert now and really sees her toys. She sleeps most of the night, thank goodness. She is starting to stick things in her mouth, but fortunately can't reach out and pick things up yet.

I had to go back to work last week. It was so hard and I balled all day before my first night back. It was so hard to leave her. Work went well though. Scott does an amazing job with her. He had no problems except that he didn't get much sleep on his weekend. We all have to sacrifice though. She's well worth it!

She loves to pull up her dresses and stick them in her mouth.
She loves to try to stand up and really doesn't need a lot of help to stay that way for a while. She's raising herself up a lot more now.

Here is a video of her "walking".

She is starting to like her "shrek seat" as I like to call it.

Her cute new peek-a-boo trick.
I'm about to go back to work for the first time.
These were her 3 month pictures. She was being too cute.

Our trip to Orange Beach June 2009

We just got back from Haley's first trip to the beach. We went with some of my sorority sisters. One of them brought her little girl, Ellie, who is 11 months old. Haley had such a great time playing with all of the girls and sleeping on the beach. She got to put her feet in a pool for the first time, get sand between her toes, and put her feet in the ocean. It was so nice to see all of my friends, but it's a little bitter sweet since it was a reminder of what I'm going to miss since I will be working every weekend. This was my last "hurrah" because I start work on Saturday. I'm really dreading it. Here are pictures of our trip.

Here we are getting ready to head to the pool on the first day.

With her Aunt Erin or "Eh Eh".

Putting her feet in the pool for the first time. I didn't know it, but she was asleep when I did this and she woke up crying. Oops.

At first, I tried to bathe her in the bathroom sink, but it was way too small.

We moved on to the kitchen sink. It worked, but was still a little small.

This is what she liked to do the most when on the beach.

This is her after a long, exhausting day on the beach.

Here she is with Ellie. She loved playing with another baby.

Here she is at dinner, playing with her aunts.

Ellie was so sweet to share her toys with Haley. Haley was mesmerized with the See-n-Say.

She absolutely LOVED these flowers that lit up and played music.

Putting her feet in the sand and ocean for the first time. She seemed to like it. She had been fussy, but this calmed her right down. It must have seemed like a giant bathtub to her.

This is what she did in the car on the way home. She is smiling at the toy hanging from her carseat. She loves toys that have a smile on their face. She always smiles right back at them.

Just some cute, recent photos

Here she is trying on the cute hat that her Nana bought her for our upcoming beach trip. She's going to look so cute in this and her shades.
